In the last quarter of 2008 in became clear to us that we needed a much improved client meeting room and company boardroom. We also wanted a space that was not only professional but would also create a “wow” factor in which clients would feel very comfortable in a room finished to a very high standard. Our initial thoughts were to move office entirely and after a search in Cheltenham we were struggling to find anything that really seemed suitable. As luck would have it the office space on the floor immediately below became available about the same time and we decided that rather than move to a new office we would stay in the same premises and take on the rooms down stairs.
When we took the offices on we knew they would need some work as there had been a flood and one of the walls and the ceilings were quite badly affected and had only been poorly patched over. This certainly would not create the image we were looking for. Vik came in and quoted to do the job and with some re-juggling of her diary was also able to get started on the work very quickly. It did however become clear early on that the room was in a worse condition than we thought and would need quite a lot of work doing to get it up to standard we have envisioned.
Despite what has been a longer and much more difficult job than anyone anticipated Vik has finished the work to an incredibly high standard definitely creating the “wow” factor we were looking for. I know it took a lot of blood sweat and tears as well as much singing, shouting and working until silly times at night to get there! We really appreciate the dedication she demonstrated to ensure the job was finished as soon as possible and to say it again the quality of the finish is outstanding.
We have already been able to welcome clients into our new space and are very proud to do so. The room is a pleasure to work and do business in and will contribute much to the future of our company and this is in no small amount thanks to Vik and also Jamie who works for her. I would absolutely recommend Vik for any decoration and renovation work you may have, it has been a pleasure.

As a busy business owner and property developer I was very keen to chose the right person to undertake the important task of repainting the outside of my own home, which I regret had become long overdue.
The ‘summer’ of 2007 was not the best period to undertake the job. Also, because I had allowed the work to be delayed for several years we came across some additional work that had to be done to ensure that our home was watertight.
I was delighted with the way that you handled this; keeping me fully informed of the work that needed to be done, liaising with other contractors to ensure it was done in a cost effective and timely manner and most importantly ensuring that you and your team were flexible enough to get your work done when the weather and other contractors allowed.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Vik Rowlands for all her care and attention shown during the refurbishment and decoration of our kitchen.
The previous decorators had merely patched things to make it look presentable. This is where Vik is very different to all the decorators I have known and with Vik – excellence comes as standard.
Firstly, the options and finishes were clearly explained to us so that we could make an informed choice of how best to transform our kitchen.
Secondly, Vik set about preparing all the surfaces in meticulous fashion which took a great deal of time and effort. The end result speaks for itself – absolutely fantastic! I am writing to let you know how delighted we all are with the revitalised lounge following your excellent work.
As a busy property developer I often hear people say that anyone can slap on a bit of paint. Having seen some people’s efforts I am very happy to disagree with that viewpoint. I recently viewed a £100,000 extension where the owners decided to save some cost and do the decorating themselves – sadly they have seriously diminished the value of their extension by doing so.
Being an older property and a very large room in the centre of our home we were apprehensive about the scale of the work, and whilst there were problems as the work progressed – blown plaster and thin paint – you kept us fully informed all along the way – even working extra hours so we could temporarily use the room one weekend for our daughter’s birthday.
You and Jamie are a real credit and we would not hesitate to recommend your services to other people and will certainly continue to retain you as our preferred supplier. We have had so many positive comments from friends and family about the room – our favourites being “it’s just like having a new house” and “we can see why you want to stay here now”!
